ANF PROJECT "The Heartbeat and Lifeblood of an Alaskan Rainforest

I have spent two unforgetable weeks in the beautiful Cordova , Alaska , having been invited to a project co- organized by Artists for Nature Foundation & Native Conservancy. I feel exceptionally honoured and grateful to be part of this and my thanks goes in particular to Ysbrand Brouwers from Artists from Nature and David Lynn Grimmes & Dune Lankard from Native Conservancy. I`ve been part of a huge family and worked side by side with amazing artists and humans like Rosanne Guille, Barry van Dusen and Siemen Dijkstra.. The only thing I can say in a word is that it was overwhelming and life changing experience! Forgot to mention that videos taken in Hobart zoo( Tasmania) in the 30`s of last century have been a great help while creating my image. The finished watercolour , I managed eventually to complete

Bird head sketches

Since the most if not all of us are forced to live in a self-isolation, and don`t have the possibility to go outdoors to sketch from life which I`m missing most, I decided to start drawing from my own videos. Every time I was travelling , I was taking a lot of footage mainly of birds. Attached in this case, songbird heads based on video I took while in Greece back in 2012. Fineliners
